I was fortunate to win a prize from the BBC for my Champ Masala recipe in '03. The prize was a long weekend in the company of Thane Prince and Sara Fox at Aldeburgh Cookery School, Suffolk. What a hoot these ladies are. Serious about food but fun to be with, they are a class act. And what's more, I actually learnt something as well - brilliant. Check out their site to find out about them and their school.
All the news from the other main Indian broadsheet. What's interesting about this paper and also The Times of India (see seperate link) is their view of our world (by that I mean western european). Check it out. Top paper.
Also I would say, in common with a lot of Indian newspapers, they are not not afraid to tell the truth, something perhaps British and US paper might like to take sight of.
